BloodRidge Manner

A story of pain, death, and insanity betides the residence of Holdenfort, and haunts their memories till the end of time. It was I who caused the pain, and I who created chaos within their happy hills. We begin on the day of my escape.

I was out of breath, police sirens and dogs bark filled my head. I ran as fast as my heart would let me. Hiding behind a old wooden fence, I caught my breath and made a plan.

“I am not going back to prison!” I fiercely whispered to myself. I kicked off the fence and ran down the neighborhood through brush and limbs behind all the houses. Staying out of sight I emerged behind a large manner. “This will have to do.” I said aloud as I picked up a limb and swiftly struck the basement window. Shattering glass shook me with fear.

My heart raced as I slowly crept down the basement window. Darkness and silence left me in a deep mental state where fear over ruled cognitive brain functions. In a fast spur I tripped over some cans and miscellaneous metal objects. I laid there catching my breath when the sound of footsteps abruptly disturbed the air. I quickly stood up and got upon the wall hiding myself from the door. Light peeked in the cracks after the sound of a switch's click. An old man slowly crept open the door. I stepped to the left shunning myself from the light and held my breath. The mans’ boots pounded my head with every step he made. As I ran my hand across the wall I felt a large wooden object. I gripped the object with my left hand and pull it up to my right. It was an ax. Without hesitation I kicked off the wall and planted the blade deep in the old man’s skull.

I could not believe the act I had just committed, though, I did not dwell on the fact that I did it, but for what has to be done to rid the body from my presence. I lit up the furnace and attempted to stuff the corpse inside, but I failed. It brought me much pain to cut up every limb into several pieces but it had to be done. The body left a rancid smell that stained my clothes as well as the soul I once had. I threw the ax over my shoulder and hauled my exhausted legs up the stairs. After checking every room I washed my hands; not washed, scrubbed, ripped, teared, but my efforts lay waste in the sulking hope of washing murder from ones hands.

I heard a tapping come from above. “More residence?” I thought to myself. I gripped the handle tightly and ran up stairs and then another flight to get to the attic. It was dark and cold, winds blew in through the open window. Laying on the window was a doll. The dolls eyes were dark buttons and had a crooked stitched smile. Before it had a chance to bother me I threw it out the window and shut and closed it tightly. I felt a sense of relief as I walked back down the stairs to the second floor, and into the kitchen. Washing my hands again I stared at the blood swirling down the drain almost hypnotizing my gaze. Soon the power went out and rain poured down hard over the manner. I gazed out the window in fear of looking around and being captured by darkness. Out in the horizon lightning struck and the apparition of a small stitched rag doll appeared on the metal fence. My heart dropped and lightning struck again. The doll was gone. My legs became weak and my stomach twisted and curled.

“I need the light!” I screamed aloud. I turned towards the stairs in effort to get to the well lit fireplace. On the counter was the doll. I slowly lifted it and began to steam. For I feared it I dropped it to the floor. Catching fire, the dolled melted through the floor. I took off running through the house and down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs I saw the fire place in the living room. As I ran towards it the walls started to morph and it seemed like it was getting further away with every step. I then tripped and landed face first on the floor. As I looked up I felt the warmth of the fire place beside me. To my right was The doll and a wooden box. Lifting up the box I read the inscription on the tarnished silver plate. “William Provis.” What was my name doing on this box. The doll made a faint high pitched laugh. I opened the box and stuffed the doll in it and locked it away. Without hesitation I shoved the doll and the box in the fire place. The wall behind me caught fire and the doors barred down. That is when I realized I was the doll in the box.

(Looking for animator or artist to illustrate a page by page story book flash game, or an animator and a narrator to make a picture slide narrated story movie.)

Once long ago, three goddesses created the land and everything in it. Din, with her strong flaming arms, sculpted the red earth. Nayru, with her infinite wisdom blessed the earth with order and laid law to the land. Farore, a kind and insecure goddess, created the creatures who would uphold the law.

The three goddesses predicted the co-dependency within the creatures of the land and sought the final touches before descending to the Sacred Realm. Three sacred lands were created in the likeness of each goddess. The first was the Kingdom of Kokiri, a grass land with Farores' courage overpowering the other two powers. Dins power and anger seeped into the outskirts, yet kept at bay in the lost woods. Whoever should wander the woods aimlessly will never find their way out, and will turn to beast. Nayru's law of time had no effect on the creatures of Kokiri Kingdom, thus they never age. The second kingdom was built to keep the earth in balance. They named this kingdom Hyrule. Farores kindness poured in to the Hylians and made them joyous within their markets, still dins greed filled the markets just as fast. The last kingdom built was the furthest away from Farore. In this lifeless red land Din kept all courage and wisdom out of the land, for she wanted it all to herself.

Din ,Nayru, and Farore created companions who would take care of the earth after their decent into the sacred realm. Farore, with her insecurities, created a friend who could never leave her, a friend she rooted to the ground, his name was Eldis but known to Kokiri's only as The Great Deku tree. Nayru sought a companion who would rule with confidence, a great king that would balance good and evil in Hyrule to keep the land safe, she named him Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. Lastly, Din only wanted a companion who would devout their entire life adoring her, one who she could sustain her need for intimacy and who she could love forever, she created a man and named him "Ganon".

Each of the three kingdoms lived in peace for years, though Din began to fill with sadness.

"What shall I be remembered for Ganon? I leave behind nothing but the rock you see before you, with no inhabitants." Din cried

"My love you will always be remembered within my heart, and nothing could ever change that." Ganon humbly replied to the Goddess.

"Please, Ganon, travel to the Kokiri and plea to the goddess of the forest. ask for a blessing, one life is all I ask for."

"As you wish, My Queen." Ganon with his dark magic manifested a beast on four legs, black as coal. Its' eyes glow dark red and its mane as orange as the sun. In a huff Ganon and shadow raced through the desert and field for three days and three nights until he reached the sacred forest of the Kokiri's. he was greeted by a Kokiri with the name of Mido.

"What is your business here stranger?" Mido questioned to the Dark Lord

"It is I mighty king of Gerudo. I request an audience with the goddess Farore."

"The goddess may not accompany you so willingly, but you may speak to The Great Deku tree. He resides at the back of the village. Please go to him, but remember we are watching you." Ganon dismounted his steed and bowed his head in appreciation to the Kokiri for safe passage. As he neared the grotto he was alarmed at a boy being attacked by the other Kokiri.

"Hey, Get off him!" Ganon fiercely exclaimed. The Kokiri scattered away from the boy. Ganon reached out a hand and helped the boy up. "Why did those boys attack you little one?

"Because I'm a freak." The boy replied

"I see no reason why you would be a freak"

"Everybody in Kokiri is blessed with a fairy yet Farore has forsaken me"

"I may have a talk with her. I'll make sure she doesn't leave you out"  Ganon smiled at the boy. "What is your name?" The child wipes his face and smiles back at his new friend.

"It's Link." Ganon stands up straight and pats link on the head.

"Be careful link, and go play i have some business to attend to." Ganon smiles once more and carries on down the path to the meadow of the great Deku tree. as he approached the mighty tree he fell to bended knee.

"Oh Great Deku tree I hum-"

"Stand, for you and I are equal." The great deku tree interrupted.

"Eldis my friend I request to speak to the goddess known as Farore."

"I see, well, that isn't possible. although she does speak through me, Please tell me what has you bothered your majesty?"

"Din pleas for life, our country is baron and Farore's magic doesn't reach the desert."

"I see. The goddess has given me permission to grant you with this fairy, a being of pure life essence. this one bottled fairy can make one creature. once you prove to Farore that you can sustain the creature on the land she will bless you with a fountain of life."

"Thank you lord Farore, and Thank you oh great deku tree, but before I part I must ask why The goddess did not grant the boy outside with a fairy?"

"The goddess has chosen Link to be the predecessor of the Triforce of Courage, thus he must age properly, a fairy would protect him from the laws of time Nayru laid upon the land."

"I understand." Ganon nodded and stepped back and flipped his cape as he walked out the grotto.

"What did she say? what did she say? c'mon tell me!" link anxiously sputtered in excitement. Ganon knelled down in front of link and grabbed his shoulders.

"Link, I know you won't fully understand, but the Goddess has something bigger planned for you. so please just stay strong and courageous." Ganon stood and walked away. a faint cry could be heard behind him. Ganon grit his teeth and swallowed and kept walking.

"Mido please watch after link" Ganon whispered as he once again mounted his horse, and raced back to his kingdom and was greeted by his beloved Din.

"What news have you got for me love!" Din grinned wide. Ganon held out the bottle containing the essence of life.

"This is a test to see if life is sustainable, we can use it to make one creature." Ganon explained

"Rubbish my darling i will show you how it is done" din took the cork off the bottle and placed her hand over the top. Fire filled the bottle and the fairy was melted into liquid.

"No!" Ganon yelled. "That was our only hope to create this kingdom."

"Hush now darling, this little fairy juice will make thousands of creatures." Din placed her hand on the ground and raised a rock from beneath the earth. With flame she sculpted the rock into a creature with two legs, two arms, an abrasive, jagged back, and a round face. With one drop of the fairy's essence the creature came to life. "Dear, I dub this creature the Gerudo Goron." Ganon stared in astonishment.

Not long after the first one was created, Din created nearly a hundred. soon after, they became weak. The Gorons deteriorated slowly and fell apart from the inside out.

"What did I do wrong?" Din cried

"There is no nourishment in the earth. no mineral to sustain the growth of the Gorons." Ganon spoke in confidence

"You must go speak with Nayru in the kingdom of Hyrule. Beg and Plea and ask the goddess for the law of downfall."

Without hesitation Ganon once again set off through the desert He came across a large draw bridge held by chain.

"I request passage." Ganon spoke towards the tower to suede the guard to open.

"By whose orders do you command me to do so."

"He who is the king of the Gerudo, Ganon."

"King? you must have people to rule over to be considered king." The tower guard laughed. Ganons nose flared and he trembled in anger. in his raged he lifted his hand towards the heckler and gripped. a purple aura shroud the top of the mans chain mail as he felt a slight pressure. Ganon pulled his hand towards his own chest and the man flew out of the tower and onto the ground in front of him.

"Would you like to say that where i can hear you better?" Ganon sneered.

"O- op- open the gate!" The draw bridge slowly fell into place over the moat.

"That's better!" Ganon laughed as he tossed the man aside.

Ganon walked at a fast pace through the market. he caught the gaze of everyone staring in fear of the dark king. once past the market Ganon came across another gate. without thought the soldier opened the gate and let him through. Ganon was surprised as every guard set a path for him leading to the castle. He gave no second thought and ventured into the throne room. Ganon held his hand to his chest and took a knee. a sudden presence he felt. he glanced at the stained window on his right as if somebody was watching him.

"Quite a ruckus you made Ganon. a couple of my soldiers already want to quit." King Hyrule laughed. Ganon stood still staring at the window.

"My intention was for progress. your soldiers hindrance made my aggression rise. intimidation does not suit me well." Ganons attention was set back to the king.

"Well what have you come for?" The king questioned.

"He has come to speak with me, I can feel it." Nayru spoke as she entered through from the courtyard.

"Yes I have, Din and I ask for the law of downfall to sustain our people."

"People? The desert houses no people of any kind."

"Farore has blessed us with the gift of life, yet with out nourishment they will perish."

"Very well, when you have returned to the valley i shall have split the land. and on top the highest mountain of the Gerudo Valley i shall bless a spring to downfall and stream in to my lake."

"Thank you Lady Nayru!"

"Now please return to your land and rejoice with your people".

Ganon bowed and turned to walk away. the sting of unwanted eyes pierced his skull. he found himself aimlessly staring at the same window again. Ganon snapped out of it, and left the kingdom. As he returned he found himself standing over a rickety bridge staring into the depths of the water that he was blessed with. Din and Ganon finally had a kingdom to reign over and were joyful of their endeavor.

Seven years passed and the predecessors of the Triforce pieces gathered in the temple of time.

"Link," Nayru spoke. "You were chosen by the goddess and the great deku tree to become the bearer of the Triforce of courage. a power of great importance although you must be warned. at the first breath of your first born you will pass your power, and the courage within you will diminish, and so shall you perish along with it. Your son, his son, and so on will be born of Farore's blood and thus be mute, for courage and a un-halted tongue leads to pride, which leads to chaos." Nayru took a deep breath. " King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule I bestow upon thee the Triforce of wisdom. With it-"

"I must humbly decline." The king cut in. "Power within leaders, heeds law and tends chaos and i wish for you to bestow upon my daughter, for if she is to grow into her power she will learn humility and what it is to be so kind in using it."

"Fair for she will be kind, yet she will never love. She will only dedicate her life to the kingdoms that lay on this land. So Princess Zelda I bestow upon you the Triforce of courage."

"Ganon" Din smiles. "Before i descend into the sacred realm i leave behind our kingdom we flourished within the short time that we have made this earth. I leave you with the Triforce of power. with this power comes respect, and fear. you will be envied, and hated till the end of time, yet lastly i leave you my love." Din tenderly kisses Ganon upon the lips and holds his cheek. Ganon reaches his hand to hold dins along his face. a tear rolls down his face and he wept.

"Please." Ganon whispered. "All the power in the world could be stripped from my veins, and I could be a mere mortal if it meant spending the rest of my life with you."

"My Sweet Ganon please do not cry, i must leave, it is destiny." Din stepped backwards still holding Ganons' hand. as her last finger left his grip a bright golden triangle manifested itself on the back of his hand, as it also did with link and Zelda.

The three goddesses folded their hands in a praying fashion and was turned into gold. in an explosion they descended into the heaven just as the gate of time closed, and in the wake of their decent three pendents were left, one to the kingdom of Kokiri, one to the Gorons of the kingdom of Gerudo and one left to the pure beings of the goddesses lake.

Ganon fell to both knees and held his head in his hand and cried. Link rushed over to calm Ganon yet king Hyrule stood in his path.

"Why!!!!!" Ganon yelled fiercely. a purple aura shrouded Ganon and he slowly rose off the ground. in his anger he shook violently causing tremors within the temple of time. in a blur Ganon wisped out of the temple and out of the kingdom of Hyrule. Ganon forsaken his people and cast the Gorons' out of the desert. And he laid lonesome on his throne for a thousand years.
